Dallas Green

I met Dallas Green as he was leaving from Bright House Networks Field in Clearwater, Florida, after a Spring Training game on March 13, 2015. Dallas, the manager of the 1980 World Champion Phillies was working for the Philadelphia Phillies as an adviser. He was kind enough to sign a 1962 Topps baseball card from his car. Dallas passed away on March 22, 2017.

Jim Archer

Jim Archer was at the Tampa Bay Rays Fan Fest on February 4, 2017 signing autographs with the MLB Alumni. Recently, a co-worker of mine told me her boyfriend's father used to be a Major League pitcher. She assured me I wouldn't know who he is... I told her, "Try me". She said "Jim Archer". I replied, "He used to play for the Kansas City A's!" I then pulled out my cell phone and showed her the autograph I obtained earlier in the year.
