Tim Tebow

On July 2, 2017, Tim Tebow, at that time, the left fielder for the St. Lucie Mets, was at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers, FL for a game against the Fort Myers Mircale. Tim signed an 8x10 picture for me after the end of the second game of a double header. The crowd was packed to see the former 2007 Heisman Trophy winner in a Mets uniform. When Tim signed my picture, the crowd swarmed in and pinned my right knee against one of the seats. It was a bit painful for a brief moment, but worth it!

Chris Sabo

I met Chris Sabo at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium in 1995 when he was rehabbing with the St. Petersburg Cardinals. Chris signed a 1992 Upper Deck baseball card prior to a game against the Clearwater Phillies.

Derrick Brooks

My son and I met Derrick Brooks at a Jersey Mike's Subs in Tampa, FL on February 24, 2018.  Derrick was signing autographs in exchange for a $10 donation to Derrick Brooks Charities. The Pro Football Hall of Famer signed an 8x10 picture for my son and I and was kind enough to take a picture with my son.

Logan Morrison

I met Logan Morrison at the USF Magnolia Fields in Tampa, FL on December 12, 2015. Logan was attending the SLAM Type 1 Diabetes Wiffle Ball Tournament hosted by Sam Fuld. Logan signed a 2011 Allen & Ginter Baseball card.

Lou Piniella

I met Lou Piniella at the Carrollwood Country Club in Tampa, FL on February 18, 2018. "Sweet Lou" was hosting a celebrity golf classic. He signed this 8x10 picture prior to the dinner reception.

Russell Martin

I met Russell Martin at Dunedin Stadium, the Spring Training home of the Toronto Blue Jays in Dunedin, FL on Sunday, February 18, 2018. Russell had just got off the team bus as he had finished his work for the day over at the Blue Jays training facility, Englebert Complex. I had asked Russell if he would personalize an autograph, he said he didn't have time and would only sign one autograph for each person. There were only about 5 people around. My son has the exact same picture and Russell was kind enough to sign it. I asked if he would mind signing one for me as well. Thankfully he did! I thanked him and wished him best of luck this season. Russell signed an 8x10 picture.

Luis Rivera

I met Luis Rivera on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Englebert Complex, the training facility of the Toronto Blue Jays in Dunedin, FL. Luis signed a 1989 Topps baseball card.

Luke Maile

 I met Luke Maile at Englebert Complex, the training facility for the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday, February 18, 2018. Luke signed a 2016 Allen & Ginter baseball card just after finishing some batting practice with a few other catchers.

Carlton Fisk

I mailed this 8x10 picture to Carlton Fisk on January 26, 2018, asking Mr. Fisk for his autograph along with personalization. I was thrilled to receive it back 19 days later, on February 14, 2018!
I'm very happy to add Pudge into my autograph collection!

Andre Dawson

I had mailed this 8x10 picture to Andre Dawson when he was working for the Miami Marlins, in early May, 2017. I received it back signed on May 20, 2017! Andre has one of the sweetest autographs I've ever seen!
On February 10, 2018, Andre was attending an autograph signing at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, FL. Hawk was kind enough to take a picture with my son prior to the Ted Williams Hall of Fame Dinner.

Tony Perez

I first met Tony Perez at Tropicana Field on February 18, 2017 during an autograph signing prior to the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame Dinner. Tony signed an 8x10 picture for me.
On February 10, 2018, Tony was again attending the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame Dinner, this time at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, FL. I asked Tony if he would take a picture with my son. The security guard behind him said "No pictures". Orestes Destrade (Seated next to Tony) said, "Yeah, B! Get in here and take a picture!" Orestes has known my son and I for the past few years. It felt good to have a connection!

Bill "Spaceman" Lee

I met Bill Lee at Spectrum Field prior to the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame Dinner in Clearwater, FL on February 10, 2018. Bill signed an 8x10 picture for my son and I. "Spaceman" even told my son, "I'm the first baseball player in history to orbit the moon."

Ron Guidry

Ron Guidry was signing autographs at Spectrum Field on February 10, 2018 prior to the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame dinner. Louisiana Lightning signed a 1986 Topps All-Star baseball card.

Willie Horton

I met Willie Horton during an autograph signing at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, FL. The signing was taking place prior to the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame dinner. Willie signed a 1973 Topps baseball card.

Gabe Kapler

On February 10, 2018, my son and I were at Spectrum Field for the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame Dinner. We were standing in line so my son could meet Steve Carlton. While waiting, I spotted Gabe Kapler walking around! I had his card on me because he had just become the Philadelphia Phillies new manager and Spectrum Field is the Spring Training home of the Phillies. My brother, Dan happened to be in another line right next to us waiting to meet Andre Dawson for an autograph. Dan agreed to watch my son as I walked over to get this 1999 Skybox Thunder baseball card signed.

George Foster

I met George Foster at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, FL. George was attending the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame Dinner. George signed this 1984 Topps baseball card right as the event was ending.

Scott McGregor

He signed an 8x10 picture for me. The picture was from 1968 when he went 31-6! Denny is the last pitcher to win 30 or more games in a season!

Steve Carlton

 I met first met Steve Carlton in 1996 at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium. I was a bat boy for the Clearwater Phillies and he was helping some of the pitchers with their technique. Steve signed this page from a Beckett Baseball Card Monthly magazine.

On February 10, 2018 Steve was back in Clearwater, signing autographs at the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame Dinner.
Steve signed an 8x10 picture for my son and even posed for picture with him!

Ray Burris

I met Ray Burris at the Tampa Bay Rays Fan Fest on February 10, 2018. Ray was very friendly. I told him he has a very nice signature. He shook my hand as I thanked him. Ray has been the toghest autograph to obtain! I've been trying to get this card signed for about 4 years! I'm very happy to never ask him again!

Zach Jackson

I met Zach Jackson on September 6, 2017 in the bullpen at George M. Steinbrenner Field prior to the start of the game when the Dunedin Blue Jays came to play the Tampa Yankees. Zach signed a 2016 Bowman baseball card.

Brad Fullmer

I met Brad Fullmer at in Clearwater, FL at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium in 1996 when the West Palm Beach Expos came to play the Clearwater Phillies in the Florida State League. Brad signed a 1995 Upper Deck baseball card.

My son was with me and had the same card. As John was signing my son's card, John commented, "You both have the same card?" I told him, those were the only cards I had of him. He pulled out a 1973 Topps card from the inside of his jacket pocket and signed that for my son as well. He told my son, "Now you have something different." I thought that was really cool of him to do!

Jim Price

I met Jim Price at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, FL during the Detroit Tigers Fantasy Camp on February 3, 2018. My son and I both had the same 1969 Topps baseball card and Jim was kind enough to sign one for each of us. Jim asked my 6 year old son if he likes baseball, my son replied happily, "Yes!" Jim then asked what his favorite position is. My son responded, "First base and short." Jim added, "you're just good looking enough to be a catcher! The smartest players are all catchers!"

Cal Ripken Jr.

I met Cal Ripken Jr. on March 4, 1994 at Dunedin Stadium during the Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training, home opener. I was selected from the stands to be the bat boy for the day. I remember sitting in the dugout talking with Cal and asking if he would sign an 8x10 picture for me after the game. Cal informed me he would be leaving after the 4th inning. I was able to get this signed before he left for the day!

Kevin Millar

I met Kevin Millar at Dunedin Stadium in 1995 when the Brevard County Manatees (Advanced A-Ball of the (then) Florida Marlins) came to play the Dunedin Blue Jays. I was a bat boy at the time for the Dunedin Blue Jays. Kevin signed my 1994-1995 Fleer Excel baseball card outside the visiting clubhouse.
