I met John Hiller on February 3, 2018 at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, FL during the Detroit Tigers Fantasy Camp. Jim signed my 1970 Topps baseball card. My son was with me and had the same card. As John was signing my son's card, John commented, "You both have the same card?" I told him, those were the only cards I had of him. He pulled out a 1973 Topps card from the inside of his jacket pocket and signed that for my son as well. He told my son, "Now you have something different." I thought that was really cool of him to do!
