Ron Karkovice

On August 10, 2025 my son and I took a quick trip to Orlando to meet former Chicago White Sox catcher, Ron Karkovice. He was signing autographs at Amazing Collectibles Orlando. Mr. Karkovice signed a 1993 Upper Deck baseball card for me and a 1992 Topps baseball card for my son. The signing was perfect timing for us as my son had just finished up a showcasing with Perfect Game in Davenport, FL, which is just a short drive away from Orlando. My son is an up and coming aspiring baseball player and was still in full uniform when we arrived.

A little fun fact, on August 30, 1990 Ron Karkovice hit an inside the park grand slam against the Minnesota Twins at the Metrodome.

 

Dan Pasqua

I mailed Dan Pasqua a 1991 Topps baseball card asking for his autograph. 

I received it in the mail signed as requested 55 days later on March 25, 2025!

 

Frank Thomas

I was finally able to get this Beckett Baseball Card Monthly magazine cover signed by Hall of Famer Frank Thomas on March 5, 2025! This is the exact magazine I tried to get signed about 30 years prior when I saw the White Sox play the Toronto Blue Jays during Spring Training.  This time around, Frank was signing autographs as well as promoting his vodka brand, FT35 at a bar called Bar 2350, located at 2350 Curlew Road in Palm Harbor, Florida. It was a 30 year journey to finally land the Big Hurt in my collection... Totally worth the wait!!!

 

 

Wilson Alvarez

I believe I met Wilson Alvarez in the late 1990's when he was a member of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

In 1998, Wilson threw the very first pitch in Devil Rays history as he was the Opening Day starter for the newly formed franchise. 

 

Carlos Rodon

July 10, 2024 Carlos Rodon signed this 2016 Topps Bunt baseball card as he was leaving Tropicana Field after his New York Yankees defeated the Tampa Bay Rays. 

 

Dennis Lamp

I mailed Dennis Lamp a 1984 Topps baseball card on September 14, 2022 and received it back with his autograph on October 25, 2022 for a 41 day turn-around!

 

Ron Kittle

 It only took 16 days to receive Ron Kittle's autograph in the mail! I sent him this 1989 Fleer baseball card on October 8th and it came back October 24, 2022! 

Vance Law

I mailed this 1985 Topps baseball card to Vance Law on September 8, 2022 hoping for an autograph. Mr. Law was kind enough to do so and returned it very quickly! I received and added this to my collection on September 20, 2022. Big thanks to Mr. Law!!

 

Marvis Foley

On August 30, 2022 I mailed this 1983 Topps card to Marvis Foley. He signed and returned it on Thursday September 8, 2022 for a 9 day turn around! It's always cool to add throw back cards from my childhood into my collection!
 

Charlie Hough

This 1992 Fleer Ultra card of Charlie Hough was mailed out to him on July 26, 2022 and was signed and was received signed on Saturday, August 13, 2022 for an 18 day turn around! Very happy to add this famous knucleball pitcher into my collection! 

Bruce Howard

I met Bruce Howard on February 8, 2020 at Tropicana Field during an MLB alumni autograph signing during the Tampa Bay Rays Fan Fest. Bruce signed a 1966 Topps baseball card for me.

Tony Muser

I met Tony Muser on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Pirate City, the Minor League training complex for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Bradenton, Florida. Tony was one of the participating instructors during a Men's Pro-Baseball Clinic. At first, my brother, Dan and I weren't 100% sure if it was him or not. I did a Google Image search for recent pictures, but still wasn't convinced. We could hear Tony give instructions to some of the players attending camp. My brother offered a suggestion to YouTube a video of Tony giving an interview from his managing days. Dan was half kidding, but I did and that solidified to me that this was in fact him. Tony signed a 1974 Topps baseball card as he was finishing his role for the day.

Avisail Garcia

Avisail Garcia signed this 2018 Donruss baseball card for me during the Tampa Bay Rays Fan Fest on February 9, 2019  at Tropicana Field.

Courtney Hawkins

I met Courtney Hawkins on August 31, 2018 at Dunedin Stadium when the Daytona Tortugas, class A advanced team for the Cincinnati Reds came to play the Dunedin Blue Jays. The Tortugas lost this game by a score of 8-1. Courtney was still kind enough to sign my 2015 Bowman baseball card after the game.

Carlton Fisk

I mailed this 8x10 picture to Carlton Fisk on January 26, 2018, asking Mr. Fisk for his autograph along with personalization. I was thrilled to receive it back 19 days later, on February 14, 2018!
I'm very happy to add Pudge into my autograph collection!

Rodney McCray

 I met Rodney McCray in St. Lucie, FL on January 22, 2018. Rodney was one of the coaching instructors during the New York Mets Fantasy Camp. Rodney signed my 1991 Topps baseball card.
