Carlos Carrasco

On December 14, 2019, Carlos Carrasco was hosting a Toy Drive at a Harley Davidson dealership in New Port Richey, Florida. My brother Dan, My son and I each donated a toy and Carlos was very thankful and signed a baseball card for each of us. Carlos signed a 2018 Topps card for me, and my son and brother each had a 2016 Bunt card.

Tony Muser

I met Tony Muser on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Pirate City, the Minor League training complex for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Bradenton, Florida. Tony was one of the participating instructors during a Men's Pro-Baseball Clinic. At first, my brother, Dan and I weren't 100% sure if it was him or not. I did a Google Image search for recent pictures, but still wasn't convinced. We could hear Tony give instructions to some of the players attending camp. My brother offered a suggestion to YouTube a video of Tony giving an interview from his managing days. Dan was half kidding, but I did and that solidified to me that this was in fact him. Tony signed a 1974 Topps baseball card as he was finishing his role for the day.

Will Venable

I met Will Venable on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Pirate City, the Minor League training facility of the Pittsburgh Pirates in Bradenton, Florida. Will was one of the participating coaches during a Men's Pro-Baseball Clinic. Will signed this 2009 Topps baseball card as he was walking back to the clubhouse.

Ricky Romero

Ricky Romero signed this 2012 Topps baseball card on November 5, 2019 outside of the New York Yankees Minor League Complex in Tampa, Florida. Ricky was finishing up for the day as an instructor for a Toronto Blue Jays Fantasy Camp, hosted by Roberto Alomar and his company, Alomar Sports. The Blue Jays were using the Yankees complex because the Jays complex in Dunedin, Florida was under construction.

Candy Maldonado

I finally got the chance to meet Candy Maldonado on November 5, 2019 at the New York Yankees Minor League training facility in Tampa, Florida. Candy was attending the Toronto Blue Jays Fantasy Camp hosted by Alomar Sports. The Blue Jays camp was being held at the Yankees complex since the near by Blue Jays facilities were under construction. Candy signed a 1990 Upper Deck baseball card just before boarding the team bus. My brother was able to get Candy's autograph during Spring Training in 1992. I waited a long time to catch up!

Bucky Dent

I met Bucky Dent at Carpenter Complex the Minor League Training Facility for the Philadelphia Phillies on January 22, 2015. He signed a 1984 Topps baseball card. Bucky was there along with the New York Yankees Fantasy Camp as an instructor. They were playing the Philadelphia Phillies Phantasy Camp. Bucky was the 1978 World Series MVP with the New York Yankees.

Mickey Rivers

Mickey Rivers signed this 1984 Topps baseball card at George M. Steinbrenner Field on January 23, 2016 during the New York Yankees Fantasy Camp.

Chris Roberson

I met Chris Roberson during the summer of 2004 when I was working for the Clearwater Threshers as a clubhouse assistant. Chris was an outfielder and looked to have a promising future. Chris signed 2004 Clearwater Threshers team set card. Chris made his Major League debut in 2006 with the Philadelphia Phillies and played his final game MLB game with them as well in 2007.

Chace Numata

I first met Chace Numata at Bright House Networks Field on September 9, 2015 prior to the start of a Clearwater Threshers home game. Chace came over and signed a 2015 Grandstand Trading Cards baseball card from the Clearwater Threshers team set. Chace, was involved in a skateboarding accident after a game with the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, the Erie Seawolves and passed away a couple days later on September 2, 2019. He was only 27 years old.

Dan Wheeler

My son earned a spot on a travel ball baseball team. While attending one of his practices in Pinellas Park, Florida, we discovered that Dan Wheeler was a coach for the same travel organization, but for older kids. I walked over to my car, where I usually have all of my cards available for rare instances just like this and grabbed a card for my son and I. After my son's practice concluded on Thursday, August 29, 2019, my son and I approached Dan with our cards in hand and a sharpie ready to go! Dan was great! He congratulated my son on making the team and signed our cards. The card pictured, is a 2010 Upper Deck baseball card he signed for me.

John Farrell

I spotted John Farrell sitting in the stands at Lecom Park during a Bradenton Marauders home game against the Daytona Tortugas. John, a former big league pitcher and manager of a World Series championship team, was kind enough to sign my 1990 Fleer baseball card on August 24, 2019.

Jameson Hannah

I met Jameson Hannah at Lecom Park in Bradenton, Florida on August 24, 2019 when his team, the Daytona Tortugas traveled to play the Bradenton Marauders. Jameson signed this 2019 Topps Pro Debut baseball card prior to boarding the team bus after the game.

Mason signed this picture for me prior to the game and just after he finished his warm ups and stretches.

Steinbrenner Field when his team, the Brevard County Manatees (Class A Advanced Affiliate for the Milwaukee Brewers) came to play the Tampa Yankees. Devin signed this 8x10 picture just before the start of the game. Devin made his Major League debut on August 7, 2019 with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Barrett is the manager for the Florida Fire Frogs, Advanced Class A affiliate for the Atlanta Braves. Barrett signed 2016 Choice team set card from the Rome Braves team set.

Roger Clemens

 On July 5, 2019 my son and I drove to Lakeland, Florida to watch a Minor League game between the visiting Dunedin Blue Jays and the home town Flying Tigers. 

We had a feeling we'd see Roger Clemens as his son Kody plays the the Flying Tigers and his son Kacy plays for the Dunedin Blue Jays.

Our hunch was correct as we spotted Roger in a suite watching his boys.

Roger left the suite moments after the Dunedin Blue Jays beat the Flying Tigers 4-0.

Roger signed an 8x10 picture for each of us and was also kind enough to pose for a picture!

Roger has all the credentials to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame. 

7 Cy Young Awards, 354 career wins and 4,672 strike outs which is 3rd all-time.

Time will tell if this amazing career is to be remembered for it's greatness.
