Yoenis Cespedes

On June 8, 2017 Yoenis Cespedes was on a rehab assignment. He was in Lakeland, FL with the St. Lucie Mets as they traveled to play a Minor League game against the Lakeland Flying Tigers at Joker Marchant Stadium. After the game, Yoenis signed an 8x10 picture for my son and I. A little bit later, Yoenis came out of the clubhouse and was kind enough to pose for a picture with my son. Yoenis is one of his favorite players!

Travis d'Arnaud

 My son and I met Travis d'Arnaud on June 8, 2016 in Dunedin, FL when he was on a rehab assignment. Travis and the St. Lucie Mets traveled to play the Dunedin Blue Jays at Dunedin Stadium. Travis signed an 8x10 picture for me and put the coolest personalization ever! The second picture is Travis with my son in St. Lucie, FL when we spotted Travis taking BP on January 29, 2016.

Dewon Brazelton

Dewon Brazelton was signing autographs with some former players and members of the MLB Alumni, on February 4, 2017 during the Tampa Bay Rays Fan Fest. Dewon signed a 2005 Upper Deck baseball card.

Phil Regan

I met Phil Regan at Brighthouse Networks Field on June 18, 2015, when the St. Lucie Mets came to play the Clearwater Threshers. I was already aware that Phil wasn't a big signer, so my son and I hung out by the bullpen as he was preparing his starting pitcher for the game. My son began chanting, "Let's Go Mets!" Phil walked over after his pitcher had finished his warm ups and handed my son a baseball. I then asked him, if he would personalize an autograph for my son and I... He suddenly seemed a bit hesitant, but he signed a 1970 Topps baseball card and personalized both of them to us. Big thanks to my brorther, Dan for the heads up!

Tomas Perez

I met Tomas Perez on July 16, 2017 at George M. Steinbrenner Field, when the Florida Fire Frogs came to play the Tampa Yankees. Tomas, a coach with the Fire Frogs signed a 1999 Pacific Crown Collection baseball card.

On March 29, 2018 the Atlanta Braves AAA team traveled to Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, FL to play a Minor League Spring Training game against the Detroit Tigers AAA team. Damon, the manager of the Gwinnett Stripers, signed a 1990 Upper Deck baseball card.

Travis Demeritte traveled with the Atlanta Braves AA and AAA team on March 29, 2018 to play a Minor League Spring Training game against the AA and AAA Detroit Tigers behind Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, FL. Travis signed a 2014 Topps Heritage baseball card. The Detroit Tigers traded Shane Greene to the Atlanta Braves for Travis on July 31, 2019. Travis made his Major League debut with the Tigers on August 2, 2019 and hit a triple off Texas Rangers pitcher Lance Lynn for his first Major League hit.

I met Lee Thomas on March 16, 2017 at Buck O'Neil Baseball Complex, the Minor League Training complex for the Baltimore Orioles. Lee was attending a Minor League Spring Training game between the Boston Red Sox and Orioles Minor League affiliates. Lee signed a 1964 Topps baseball card.

Joe Pignatano

I met Joe Pignatano at First Data Field on January 27, 2017, the New York Mets Spring Training stadium. Joe was there for the New York Mets Fantasy Camp. I was getting ready to leave and head back to Tampa when Joe pulled up and exited from the back seat of a car. Joe was kind enough to stop and sign my 1961 Topps baseball card.

I met Curtis Granderson at Dunedin Stadium on Monday, March 12, 2018. Curtis was signing autographs from his car as he was leaving the ball park just after a Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training game against the Boston Red Sox. Curtis signed an 8x10 picture for me as well as my son, although my son was in school at the time. After Curtis had finished signing for the crowd, and began to drive away, the crowd began to applaud. I heard several people say "Class Act" and "He's such a nice guy!". Curtis has always been one of my favorites, ever since he first came up with Detroit. I fully agree with what those people were saying. I'm thrilled to add him into my collection! My son was also very excited to add Mr. Granderson into his collection! I took this picture of my son holding his autographed picture as soon as I got home that day.

Aroldis Chapman

My son and I met Aroldis Chapman outside the Grand Hyatt Hotel as he was arriving to attend a dinner auction, hosted by Mariano Rivera. Aroldis signed a 2015 Topps baseball card for me and signed a 2015 Topps Heritage card for my son. Aroldis was also kind enough to pose for a picture with my son.

Whitey Herzog

My son and I met Whitey Herzog on January 29, 2016 at Roger Dean Stadium during the St. Louis Cardinals Fantasy Camp. Whitey signed an 8x10 picture for my son and I. While looking at the pictures, Whitey looks at my son and I and says with a very loud and distinguished voice, "God damn I was handsome!" Whitey was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2010.

Brent Honeywell
