Phil Regan

I met Phil Regan at Brighthouse Networks Field on June 18, 2015, when the St. Lucie Mets came to play the Clearwater Threshers. I was already aware that Phil wasn't a big signer, so my son and I hung out by the bullpen as he was preparing his starting pitcher for the game. My son began chanting, "Let's Go Mets!" Phil walked over after his pitcher had finished his warm ups and handed my son a baseball. I then asked him, if he would personalize an autograph for my son and I... He suddenly seemed a bit hesitant, but he signed a 1970 Topps baseball card and personalized both of them to us. Big thanks to my brorther, Dan for the heads up!
