Albert Belle

I met Albert Belle in 1994 at Dunedin Stadium when the Cleveland Indians came to play the Toronto Blue Jays during Spring Training. Albert signed the back cover of a Beckett Baseball Card Monthly magazine.

Todd Zeile

I first met Todd Zeile in the early 90's during Spring Training at Dunedin Stadium when the St. Louis Cardinals came to play the Toronto Blue Jays. Todd signed the back cover of a Beckett Baseball Card Monthly magazine.

Craig Biggio

My son and I spotted Hall of Famer, Craig Biggio in the stands prior to the start of a Dunedin Blue Jays game at George M. Steinbrenner Field, the home of the Tampa Yankees on July 13, 2017. Craig's son, Cavan had just posed for a picture with my son. We came prepared on the off chance that Craig might be there. Thankfully, it paid off! Craig signed an 8x10 picture for my son and I and was kind enough to pose for a picture.

Cavan Biggio

 I first met Cavan Biggio at a Dunedin Blue Jays home game at Dunedin Stadium on April 8, 2017 just before game time. Cavan signed my 2012 Panini USA baseball card. On July 13, 2017, Cavan posed for a picture with my son prior to a Tampa Yankees game at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, FL. Moments later, my son and I spotted his Dad in the stands!.... Luckily, we came prepared!

Brooks Kieschnick

I met Brooks Kieschnick at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium in 1998 while playing with the St. Petersburg Devil Rays. They were visiting playing the home team Clearwater Phillies of the Florida State League. Brooks signed the back cover of a Beckett Focus On Future Stars magazine.

Eric Davis

I met Eric Davis in 1994 at Dunedin Stadium when the Detroit Tigers came to play the Toronto Blue Jays during Spring Training. Eric signed a page from a Beckett Baseball Card Monthly magazine.

Carlos Delgado

I first met Carlos Delgado in 1994 at an autograph signing. Carlos signed the cover of a Beckett Focus on Future Stars price guide magazine

Anthony Young

I first met Anthony Young at First Data Field on January 29, 2016 during the New York Mets Fantasty Camp. Anthony signed a 1992 Upper Deck baseball card for my son and I. About a year later, on January 27, 2017 Anthony was again attending the same Fantasy Camp. Anthony was kind enough to pose for a picture with my son! Anthony sadly passed away exactly 6 months later, on June 27, 2017.

Ray Knight

I met Ray Knight at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium during Spring Training in 1996, when the Cincinnati Reds, whom he was managing came to play the Philadelphia Phillies. Ray signed this 1987 Topps baseball card right outside of the visiting clubhouse as he was leaving the field after batting practice. I'm very happy to add the 1986 World Series MVP into my collection!

Randy Niemann

I first met Randy Niemann in the mid-1990's when he was the pitching coach for the St. Lucie Mets of the Florida State League. Randy signed a 1987 Topps baseball card.

Edwin Diaz

I met Edwin Diaz in 1995 when he and his team, the Port Charlotte Rangers traveled to play the Clearwater Phillies at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium. Edwin signed a 1994 Classic Best Gold baseball card.

Matt Hall

Matt Hall signed this 2015 Bowman baseball card at Spectrum Field when the Lakeland Flying Tigers traveled to play the Clearwater Threshers on May 19, 2017. Matt made his Major League debut with the Detroit Tigers on September 15, 2018.

Stephen Tarpley

I met Stephen Tarpley at McKechnie Field on September 10, 2016 when the Tampa Yankees traveled to play the Bradenton Marauders. Stephen signed this 2016 team set card from his former team. Stephen had recently been traded to the New York Yankees organization. Stephen made his Major League debut with the New York Yankees on September 2, 2018.

Spencer Turnbull

 I met Spencer Turnbull at Spectrum Field on April 11, 2017 when the Lakeland Flying Tigers came to play the Clearwater Threshers in Clearwater, Florida. Spencer signed a 2014 Bowman baseball card. Spencer made his Major League debut with the Detroit Tigers on September 14, 2018.

Matt Moore

I first met Matt Moore on December 13, 2014 during Sam Fuld's Slam Diabetes Wiffle Ball Tournament at the University of South Florida. Matt signed an 8x10 picture for me.

Gary Caraballo

I met Gary Caraballo in 1992 at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium when the Baseball City Royals of the Florida State League came to play the Clearwater Phillies. Gary signed a 1992 Classic Best baseball card. The card has his last name misspelled.

Mark Carrier

I remember meeting Mark Carrier at Lansbrook Golf Club in the early 1990's. Mark signed a 1990 Score Buccaneers card for me as he was putting his golf clubs in his car, as he was getting ready to leave the course.

Matt Williams

I met Matt Williams on September 14, 2018 when the Oakland A's came to Tropicana Field to play the Tampa Bay Rays. Matt came over to sign autographs for a group of us. Matt was kind enough to sign my son's 1991 Score baseball card and my 1994 Beckett Baseball Card Monthly magazine cover. He also posed for a picture with my son! My son commented on what a nice autograph he had! Matt was thankful to him for the kind words!

Fernando Rodney

My son and I were able to meet Fernando Rodney when the Oakland A's came to Tropicana Field to play the Tampa Bay Rays on September 14, 2018. Fernando was kind enough to sign a 2015 Topps baseball card for each of us, as well as pose for a picture with my son!

Chad Pinder

My son and I went to see the Oakland A's play the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field on Friday, September 14, 2018. Prior to the game, Chad Pinder came over by the third base dugout to sign some autographs. My son and I each had our cards ready. My son handed him his Bowman baseball card and Chad also took my 2017 Topps card at the same time. He signed both then put my son's Bowman card on top of mine, smearing the autograph completely instantly! Chad saw what happened and asked if I had another card for him to sign. I told me I didn't. My brother, Dan chimed in saying, "We only get one". There was another autograph seeker to my left and Chad noticed he had several cards of his. Chad told him he'd sign all of his cards if he would give one of them to me! The man agreed and I ended up getting Chad's autograph on a 2018 Topps baseball card! I thanked both Chad and the stranger for this!

Roger McDowell

I FINALLY met Roger McDowell on September 7, 2018 at Tropicana Field when the Baltimore Orioles came to play the Tampa Bay Rays. My son and I arrived at the ball park while the Orioles were taking BP. As soon as we arrived, I spotted Roger walking to the Orioles bullpen to with a rake to prep the pen for his starting pitcher, Dylan Bundy. I have been a long time Mets fan and Roger was one of the famous Mets players from the 1986 Championship team. After Roger finished what he was working on, he seemed to be walking in my direction. Roger is very tough autograph to obtain. I had tried on two occasions in the past and could not get him to acknowledge me. Late in the 2017 season, he did come over to take a picture with my son, but he would not sign anything. This time around seemed much easier. Maybe I just caught him on a good day... Regardless, my son called his name as he walked closer to us. "Roger? Can I have your autograph?" My seven year old son asked. "Sure!" he said, he then added, "How are you today?" Roger signed my 1988 Donruss baseball card as well as my son's 1987 Fleer Award Winners baseball card. I am thrilled to add Roger into my autograph collection!

Adam Jones

I met Adam Jones when the Baltimore Orioles traveled to play the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field on September 7, 2018. Adam came over after BP to sign autographs for a small group of people. Adam was kind enough to sign an 8x10 picture.

Luis Ortiz

 I met Luis Ortiz on September 7, 2018 at Tropicana Field just after the National Anthem and prior to the first pitch. Luis made his Major League debut on this day, coming out of the bullpen for the Baltimore Orioles. Sadly for the Orioles, the game was a blowout. Luis worked 2/3 of an inning, surrendering 3 earned runs on 3 hits and walking 2. Not the performance he would have hoped for, but it was his MLB debut and that alone is something to be extremely proud of.  Luis signed a 2015 Topps Heritage baseball card.

Chip Lawrence

I met Chip Lawrence on September 4, 2018 at Spectrum Field. Chip was scouting game 1 of the Florida State League North Division playoff series between the Clearwater Threshers and the Daytona Tortugas. Chip signed a 1998 Frederick Keys team set card in between innings of the game.

Luke Williams

I met Luke Williams at Spectrum Field on September 4, 2018. Luke was entering the field from the clubhouse prior to game 1 of a playoff series between the Clearwater Threshers and the Daytona Tortugas. Luke signed a 2017 Lakewood Blueclaws team set card.

Henri Lartigue

I met Henri Lartigue at Spectrum Field on September 4, 2018. Henri was entering the field from the clubhouse prior to game 1 of a playoff series between the Clearwater Threshers and the Daytona Tortugas. Henri signed a 2017 Lakewood Blueclaws team set card.

Raul Rivas

I met Raul Rivas on September 4, 2018 at Spectrum Field as he was entering the field from the Threshers clubhouse. Raul signed a 2018 Clearwater Threshers team set baseball card prior to the start of game 1 of a Florida State League playoff game against the Daytona Tortugas.

Alejandro Requena

I met Alejandro Requena at Spectrum Field prior to the start of game 1 of a Florida State League playoff series against the Daytona Tortugas, on September 4, 2018 Alejandro was charting in the stands for the Threshers, along with team mate Mauricio Llovera. Alejandro signed a 2018 Clearwater Threshers team set baseball card.

Mauricio Llovera

I met Mauricio Llovera at Spectrum Field prior to the start of game 1 of a Florida State League playoff series against the Daytona Tortugas, on September 4, 2018 Mauricio was charting in the stands for the Threshers, along with team mate Alejandro Requena. Mauricio signed a 2018 Clearwater Threshers team set baseball card.

Jose Gomez

I met Jose Gomez on September 4, 2014 at Spectrum Field just after he finished his pre-game stretching, prior to game 1 of a Florida State League playoff game against the Daytona Tortugas. Jose signed a 2018 Clearwater Threshers team set baseball card.

Edgar Cabral

I met Edgar Cabral prior to the start of game 1 of a Florida State League playoff game against the Daytona Tortugas at Spectrum Field on September 4, 2014. Edgar was just about to warm up his starting pitcher, Adonis Medina. Edgar signed a 2018 Clearwater Threshers team set baseball card.

Ibandel Isabel

I met Ibandel Isabel prior to the start of a game between the Daytona Tortugas and the home team Dunedin Blue Jays. Ibandel signed an 8x10 picture on August 31, 2018. Ibandel had been traded to the Cincinnati Reds organization from the Dodgers earlier in the season. Ibandel's bat exploded with power as he set a Florida State League record for most home runs hit in a season with 35! He totaled 36 overall in 2018 as he hit one home run while playing for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.

Scott Moss

Scott Moss signed an 8x10 picture for me at Dunedin Stadium on August 31, 2018.  Scott was the starting pitcher for the Daytona Tortugas as he faced the Dunedin Blue Jays. Scott had a rough outing as he was pulled from the game in the second inning after surrendering 6 runs on 7 hits. Scott still had an outstanding season for Daytona, posting a 15-4 record for the season.

Stuart Fairchild

I met Stuart Fairchild on August 31, 2018 at Dunedin Stadium. Stuart was playing for the Daytona Tortugas. They were in town to face the Dunedin Blue Jays. Stuart was brought in to play Center Field after Tortugas outfielders, Michael Beltre and Taylor Trammell collided. Taylor Trammell was pulled and replaced by Stuart, who went 1-2 with a walk in three plate appearances. Stuart signed a 2017 Bowman baseball card prior to the start of the game.

Courtney Hawkins

I met Courtney Hawkins on August 31, 2018 at Dunedin Stadium when the Daytona Tortugas, class A advanced team for the Cincinnati Reds came to play the Dunedin Blue Jays. The Tortugas lost this game by a score of 8-1. Courtney was still kind enough to sign my 2015 Bowman baseball card after the game.
