Brendan McKay

I met Brendan McKay in Tampa, Florida on May 21, 2018 when the Charlotte Stone Crabs came to George M. Steinbrenner Field to play the Tampa Tarpons. On this rainy day, Brendan signed an 8x10 picture for me!

Austin Meadows

I met Austin Meadows on May 17, 2015 at McKechnie Field in Bradenton, when he was a member of the Bradenton Marauders. Austin signed a 2014 Topps Pro Debut baseball card.

Vladimir Gutierrez

I had met Vladimir Gutierrez outside of the visiting clubhouse at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, FL on August 4, 2017. Vladimir had signed an 8x10 picture for me as he and his team, the Daytona Tortugas were leaving the ball park after a game against the Lakeland Flying Tigers.

Shannon Stewart

I originally met Shannon Stewart in the mid 1990's at Englebert Complex, the Toronto Blue Jays Minor League training facility in Dunedin, FL. Shannon signed a 1993-1994 Fleer Excel baseball card.

Bret Saberhagen

I met Bret Saberhagen on January 21, 2017 Fort Myers, FL at Jet Blue Park at Fenway South. Bret was participating as one of the instructors during the Boston Red Sox Fantasy Camp. The former Cy Young Award winner signed an 8x10 picture as he was leaving for the day.

Eric Plunk

I met Eric Plunk in the mid 1990's at Dunedin Stadium, when the Cleveland Indians came to play a Spring Training game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Eric signed a 1991 Upper Deck baseball card.

J.J. Johnson

I met J.J. Johnson in 1995 when the Sarasota Red Sox came to Jack Russell Memorial Stadium to play the Clearwater Phillies. J.J. signed a 1994 Classic baseball card.

Don Mattingly

I never actually met Don Mattingly. My brother, Dan was able to get this signed for me during Spring Training in the early 90's at Dunedin Stadium, when the New York Yankees came to play the Toronto Blue Jays.

My son was able to get this 8x10 picture signed on March 12, 2023 after a Spring Training game in Clearwater, FL. Mr. Mattingly was the bench coach for the Toronto Blue Jays.

Ronn Reynolds

I mailed this 1986 Topps baseball card to Ronn Reynolds and received it back signed on May 11, 2017.  This is my first 86 Topps Mets card I've ever had signed!

Dickie Noles

I first met Dickie Noles in the mid 1990's. Dickie has been a coach in the Philadelphia Phillies Minor League system for many years. He signed a 1984 Topps baseball card for me on our first meeting. Getting to know him a little bit as I worked with the Phillies from the mid 90's to 2006.  He's always pleasant guy. My son has gotten to know him a little bit as well. Dickie always seems to stop whatever he's doing to come say hi to my son. Usually, he'll ask my son if he'd like a snack and will come back out of the clubhouse with cookies, crackers, and a Coke for him! Such a positive man. Can't say anything bad about this guy!

Todd Cady

I met Todd Cady in 1996 when the Brevard County Manatees, Class A affiliate for the Florida Marlins, came to play the Clearwater Phillies at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium. Todd signed a 1994 Signature Rookies baseball card.

Jaime Escamilla

I met Jaime Escamilla in 1996 when the Port Charlotte Rangers came to play the Clearwater Phillies at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium. Jaime signed a 94-95 Fleer Excel baseball card!

Jack Flaherty

Jack Flaherty signed this 8x10 picture for me on May 22, 2016 at Spectrum Field, when the Palm Beach Cardinals came to play the Clearwater Threshers at Spectrum Field. Jack made his Major League Debut on September 1, 2017 with the St. Louis Cardinals.

Braxton Davidson

I met Braxton Davidson on April 21, 2017 when the Florida Fire Frogs, Class A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves came to Spectrum Field to play the Clearwater Threshers. Just before the start of the game, Braxton signed a 2014 Bowman baseball card!

Jim Czajkowski

I met Jim Czajkowski on April 8, 2016 at Spectrum Field. Jim signed a 1991 Line Drive baseball card just before a game against the Clearwater Threshers. Jim was the pitching coach for the Dunedin Blue Jays at the time.

Jimmy Haynes

I met Jimmy Haynes in the mid 1990's during Spring Training when he was with the Baltimore Orioles. Jimmy signed a 1993 Classic Best baseball card.

Monte Irvin

I met Hall of Famer, Monte Irvin on November 5, 1995 at the Thunder Dome, (Now Tropicana Field) in St. Petersburg, Florida during the Tampa Bay Devil Rays first Fan Fest. Monte signed an 8x10 picture for me that day. Monte passed away on January 11, 2016 at the age of 96.

Reggie Jackson

 I first met Reggie Jackson on September 21, 2014 outside of the New York Yankees Minor League complex in Tampa, Florida. Reggie signed the inside cover of a Beckett Baseball Card Monthly magazine.  On October 13, 2016, I brought my son with me to Brighthouse Networks Field in Clearwater, FL because I heard Reggie was assisting the Yankees during their Florida Instructional League. Reggie was kind enough to sign and personalize my son's 8x10 picture as well as pose for a picture with him!

Johnny Vander Meer

I met Johnny Vander Meer at the Thunder Dome (Now Tropicana Field) at the very first Tampa Bay Devil Rays Fan Fest on November 5, 1995 in St. Petersburg, Florida. There was a very loud speaker behind Johnny as he was signing autographs. I had asked him to personalize my 8x10 picture and he obviously had difficulty hearing me with the speaker being so close. He wrote, "To Bryant" instead of "Brian". Even still, kind of neat to add him into my collection. Johnny is the only pitcher in Major League Baseball history to throw back to back No-Hitters. He accomplished that amazing feat in 1938 while a member of the Cincinnati Reds.

Darick Hall

I met Darick Hall just after the Clearwater Threshers game against the Dunedin Blue Jays at Spectrum Field on May 4, 2018. Darick crushed a 9th inning home run for the Threshers, his 10th of the season, but they still came up short in a 3-2 loss to the visiting Dunedin Blue Jays. Darick signed a 2017 Choice baseball card from the Lakewood Blueclaws team set.

Bailey Falter

I met Bailey Falter just before the start of a Clearwater Threshers game against the visiting Dunedin Blue Jays at Spectrum Field on May 4, 2018. My brother, Dan had spotted Bailey sitting in the stands.  Bailey signed a 2015 Bowman baseball card.

Ruben Gotay

I met Ruben Gotay on May 4, 2018 at Spectrum Field by the home dugout. Ruben, a coach with the Clearwater Threshers signed a 2007 Topps baseball card.

Angel Perdomo

I spotted Angel Perdomo in the stands at Spectrum Field on May 4, 2018. Angel signed a 2017 Bowman baseball card prior to the start of a game between the Dunedin Blue Jays and the Clearwater Threshers.

Casey Candaele

I met Casey Candaele at Spectrum Field before the start of a Minor League baseball game between the Dunedin Blue Jays and the Clearwater Threshers, on May 4, 2018. Casey was managing the Dunedin Blue Jays. Casey signed a 1988 Fleer baseball card.

Logan Warmoth

I met Logan Warmoth at Spectrum Field prior to the start of the Dunedin Blue Jays and Clearwater Threshers game. Logan signed a 2017 Bowman baseball card.

Riley Adams

I met Riley Adams on May 4, 2018 at Spectrum Field. Riley signed my 2017 Bowman baseball card just before getting ready to warm up his pitcher for the Dunedin Blue Jays and Clearwater Threshers baseball game.

Jesus Sanchez

I met Jesus Sanchez at George M. Steinbrenner Field when the Charlotte Stone Crabs came to play the Tampa Tarpons. Jesus signed my 2017 Bowman's Best baseball card by the third base dugout, just before the start of the game.
