Jim Thome

I met Jim Thome in 2005 at Bright House Networks Field in Clearwater FL. Jim was rehabbing with the Clearwater Threshers, the Class A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. Jim signed this jersey for me right after he finished doing his stretches on the left field line. A few minutes later, a heavy rain came and the game was cancelled before the gates were even open. I ran into the clubhouse for shelter. I was a former clubhouse attendant, and was quite familiar with the people inside. Jim spotted me in the locker room and appeared surprised to see me in the restricted area. My former manager told Jim who I was. Jim was very down to earth and very friendly. He even asked me for advice on where to go in the area for a haircut. Jim was announced as a Hall of Famer on January 24, 2018.

On January 23, 2020 my son was lucky enough to meet this baseball legend! Jim Thome signed an 8x10 picture at Carpenter Complex in Clearwater, Florida as he was working as a baseball instructor during the Philadelphia Phillies Phantasy Camp!

Don Sutton

I mailed this 8x10 picture to Hall of Famer, Don Sutton on December 31, 2017 along with a letter requesting his autograph and personalization. I received it back signed and personalized on January 24, 2018. I'm very happy to add this 324 game winner to my collection!

Juan Lagares

I met Juan Lagares at First Data Field in St. Lucie, FL. Juan was getting in a work out at the New York Mets Spring Training home prior to Spring Training. The Gold Glove center fielder signed my 2013 Topps Baseball card.

Rodney McCray

 I met Rodney McCray in St. Lucie, FL on January 22, 2018. Rodney was one of the coaching instructors during the New York Mets Fantasy Camp. Rodney signed my 1991 Topps baseball card.

Wilmer Flores

On Monday, January 22, 2018, I drove to Port St. Lucie, FL along with my son and my brother in hopes of getting some autographs from some New York Mets as they get in their early work outs prior to Spring Training. Wilmer Flores happen to be there! Wilmer signed the exact same 8x10 picture for my son, but didn't seem to want to sign for me. There was only about 6 people total getting autographs, as he skipped over me. Once everybody had their cards and pictures signed, I asked him to personalize the picture... Apparently he was ok with that, and I ended up getting his autograph!

Larry Bowa

I met Larry Bowa in the mid 90's at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium. Larry signed a 1993 Ted Williams baseball card.

George Bell

I met George Bell in the mid 90's at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium in Clearwater, Florida. George signed my 1986 Topps baseball card.

Tom Filer

I met Tom Filer in the Spring of 2006 at Carpenter Complex, the Philadelphia Phillies Minor League training facility. Tom signed my 1986 Topps baseball card.

David Ross

I met David Ross at Joe Maddon's restaurant, Ava in Tampa, FL in December, 2017. David was a guest bar tender & was signing autographs, providing a donation to the tip jar for the waiting staff. David signed an 8x10 picture for me.

Goose Gossage

I mailed this 8x10 picture to Hall of Fame pitcher, Goose Gossage and received it back signed on July 5, 2017.

Nick Gordon

I met Nick Gordon on April 10, 2016 when the Fort Myers Miracle came to play the Bradenton Marauders at McKechnie Field. Nick signed an 8x10 picture.

Amir Garrett

I met Amir Garrett on April 26, 2015 at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium when the Daytona Tortugas came to play the Dunedin Blue Jays. Amir was charting that day and was heading from the clubhouse into the stands. Amir signed this 8x10 picture just before the start of the game.

Steve Blass

I met Steve Blass at the Sarasota Kennel Club & One Eyed Black Jacks Poker Room. Steve was signing autographs for free on February 11, 2017 in Sarasota, FL. Steve signed an 8x10 picture.

Joe Carter

I met Joe Carter on March 4, 1994 at Dunedin Stadium. That day was the Spring Training home opener for the Toronto Blue Jays against the Baltimore Orioles. I was picked out of the stands that day to be the bat boy. Joe signed the back cover of my Beckett Baseball Card Monthly magazine.

Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd

I met Oil Can Boyd at Jet Blue Park at Fenway South in Fort Myers, FL on January 21, 2017. Oil Can was one of the instructors during the Boston Red Sox Fantasy Camp. Oil Can signed my 1986 Topps card.

Miguel Andujar

I met Miguel Andujar prior to the start of a Tampa Yankees game on May 10, 2016 at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, FL. Miguel signed an 8x10 picture.

Sonny Gray

I met Sonny Gray on May 13, 2016 outside of the Vinoy Renaissance Marriott hotel when the Oakland A's came to St. Petersburg, FL to play the Tampa Bay Rays. Sonny signed an 8x10 picture.

Doug Sisk

After a day of autograph collecting on January 13, 2018, I came home to find this in my mail box. I mailed Doug Sisk about 6 months prior a 1984 Topps baseball card. I was very happy and surprised to have it returned.

Homer Bush

Homer Bush was one of the camp instructors during the Yankees Women's Fantasy Camp. On January 13, 2018, I met Homer at the New York Yankees Minor League training facility and he was kind enough to sign my 1994-95 Fleer Excel card.

Luis Sojo

 I met Luis Sojo on January 13, 2018 at the New York Yankees Minor League training facility in Tampa, FL. Luis was attending the New York Yankees Women's Fantasy Camp as one of the camp instructors. Luis signed a 1991 Score baseball card.

Phil Ervin

I met Phil Ervin at Dunedin Stadium April 26, 2015 when the Daytona Tortugas came to play the Dunedin Blue Jays. Phil signed an 8x10 picture from when he played for the Dayton Dragons.

J.D. Closser

I met J.D. Closser on April 21, 2015 at Brighthouse Networks Field when the Tampa Yankees, whom he was coaching for, came to play the Clearwater Threshers. J.D. signed a 1999 Topps card.

Dariel Alvarez

I met Dariel Alvarez on March 16, 2017 at Buck O'Neil Baseball Complex, the Minor League training facility of the Baltimore Orioles in Sarasota, FL. Dariel signed my 2016 Topps baseball card.

Ryan Garton

Ryan Garton was signing autographs on February 17, 2017 during the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame induction dinner at Tropicana Field. Ryan signed an 8x10 picture.

Tommy Lasorda

I mailed these two 8x10 pictures to Tommy Lasorda on December 28, 2017 for my son and I. After a day of autograph collecting in Fort Myers, FL, on January 6, 2018, I came home to find them both signed and personalized! I love that he even put "A Future Dodger" on both pictures to us! Very grateful to add these to our collections!

Phil Roof

On January 6, 2018 I met Phil Roof in a hotel lobby in Fort Myers, FL during the Minnesota Twins Fantasy Camp. Phil signed a 1967 Topps card.

Dick Stigman

I met Dick Stigman in a hotel lobby on January 6, 2018 in Fort Myers, FL during the Minnesota Twins Fantasy Camp. Dick signed my 1959 Topps card.

Steve Lombardozzi

I met Steve Lombardozzi in a hotel lobby during the Minnesota Twins Fantasy Camp on January 6, 2018.  Steve signed my 1986 Donruss card.

Mickey Hatcher

I met Mickey Hatcher in a hotel lobby during the Minnesota Twins Fantasy Camp on January 6, 2018. Mickey signed my 1985 Topps card.

Stu Cliburn

 I met Stu Cliburn during the Minnesota Twins Fantasy Camp on January 6, 2018 in Fort Myers, FL. Stu was kind enough to come over to where my son, myself and my brother, Dan were seated in a hotel lobby and sign our cards for us. Stu signed my 1987 Donruss baseball card. My son had a 1986 Topps card signed. Stu even came back to us a short while later and gave my son an 8x10 picture and signed and personalized that as well!

Bobby Doerr

I mailed this 8x10 picture to Hall of Famer, Bobby Doerr and received it back on March 17, 2017.
Bobby was known as "The Silent Captain" and was inducted in the the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1986. Bobby passed away at the age of 99 on November 13, 2017.

Rowdy Tellez

On March 26, 2017 I met Rowdy Tellez at Englebert Complex, the Minor League training facility of the Toronto Blue Jays. My son was with me and we both were trying to get his autograph. I asked Rowdy if he'd mind signing one for each of us. His response, "I'll sign for him, but not for you." I responded with, "You could personalize it if you want" He looked at me, laughed and said, "Dude, I'm just messin' with you!" Rowdy signed and personalized my 8x10 picture.

Tim Garland

I met Tim Garland at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, FL on April 23, 2017. Tim was a coach with the Lakeland Flying Tigers, the advanced A-Ball team of the Detroit Tigers. Tim signed my 1992 Classic Best baseball card.

Kevin Padlo

I met Kevin Padlo on May 8, 2017 at Spectrum Field when the Charlotte Stone Crabs, advanced A-Ball team of the Tampa Bay Rays came to play the Clearwater Threshers (Phillies). Kevin signed my 2016 Bowman card just before the start of the game.

Jake Fox

I spotted Jake Fox in the stands at a Clearwater Threshers game on July 30, 2017. The game had been delayed due to rain, but the the sky was beginning to clear up. I went out to the car to grab the card. When I returned, I approached Jake. He was very nice and more than willing to sign! I had mentioned to Jake about when I used to play a baseball game on my Xbox. I told him, I had the game set up for league play and I was the Tampa Bay Rays. I added, "I hated playing the Orioles because sure enough, if I was the away team and I entered the bottom of the ninth inning and Jake Fox was up, you always hit a walk off home run off me!" Jake signed my 2009 Topps card.

Jacob Faria

I met Jacob Faria at a free autograph signing at GTE Financial on August 19, 2017. Jacob signed an 8x10 picture.

Daniel Robertson

I met Daniel Robertson at a free autograph signing at GTE Financial in St. Petersburg, FL on August 19, 2017. Daniel signed a 2015 Bowman card.

Rob Picciolo

My brother and I met Rob Picciolo at Pirate City in Bradenton, FL on December 2, 2017. Rob was very nice and even told us how to properly pronounce has last name. Rob signed my 1981 Donruss card. Rob passed away suddenly on January 3, 2018

Courtney Mitchell

I met Courtney Mitchell in 1998 when he played for the Clearwater Phillies. I was a clubhouse attendant that season. I had a big CD collection of mostly hip-hop from the late 80's to early 90's. Some of the players used to borrow some of my CD's. Courtney asked my permission to borrow my Death Row's Greatest Hits CD... Sadly, the season ended and I never got it back. At least I have his autograph to remember!

Ed 'Too Tall' Jones

My brother and I spotted Ed 'Too Tall' Jones outside 717 South in Tampa, FL on December 12, 2015 during Joe Maddon's annual Thanksmas party. My brother, Dan and I called my Dad to google some images of Jones and then e-mailed to me. We picked which one we liked the best and walked to a near by CVS to print the picture out. Ed signed the picture with my brother's dying sharpie.

Gary Sheffield

On July 8, 2017, Gary Sheffield was at a celebrity soft ball game in Tampa, FL, raising money for Seminole Heights Little League. That league produced such players as Sheffield, along with Dwight Gooden, Carl Everett, Derek Bell, Floyd Yomans and more! Gary signed the cover of a Beckett Baseball Card Monthly magazine.

My son was able to catch up with Gary once again on January 17, 2019. This time, my son was finally able to get his picture with him outside of the batting cages at the University of Tampa.

Mackey Sasser

I met Mackey Sasser at Tradition Field on January 27, 2017. Mackey was one of the instructors during the New York Mets Fantasy Camp. Mackey was one of my favorite catchers to play for the Mets.

Tim Naehring

 I met Tim Naehring in the stands on September 10, 2017 during a Florida State League playoff game at McKechnie Field where the Tampa Yankees came to play the Bradenton Marauders.

J.P. Arencibia

I met J.P. Arencibia outside of Dunedin Stadium on December 4, 2017 during the Toronto Blue Jays Fantasy Camp hosted by Roberto Alomar and Alomar Sports. This is my first Gypsy Queen card signed.

Sal Butera

On May 12, 2017 My brother pointed out Sal Butera in the stands at a Dunedin Blue Jays game. I went out to the parking lot and found this 1986 Topps card in the car!
