I met Lucas Duda outside of Tradition Field in St. Lucie, FL on January 29, 2016. My son, my brother, Dan and were getting ready to leave after a morning of collecting autographs during the Mets Fantasy Camp. I decided to drive to the other side of the ballpark just to see if any players were working out or leaving. We figured all the players would have left already, but wanted to be sure before heading home. Good thing, too! As we drove up, I spotted Lucas just sitting in his car. He was great! He signed an 8x10 picture for me. A card for my brother and posed for a picture with my son! Lucas signed the same picture for my son.
