I was finally able to add Scooter Gennett into my collection on Friday, December 19, 2025. Scooter was signing autographs at a Light The World donation event at Clearwater Mall, alongside Rick Bosetti, Garth Iorg, Buck Martinez and Darnell Coles. Several years ago, Scooter was on a rehab assignment in Clearwater as he was working his way back from an injury. My son and I asked him for an autograph. He signed a card for my son but not for me. I'm actually glad that it worked out this way because the 2019 Topps Stadium Club baseball card he signed for me, is much nicer than the card I had tried to get signed before! Thank you, Scooter!
