I first met Joe Maddon at Tropicana Field when he was in his final season as the manager of the Tampa Bay Rays on September 3, 2014. Joe signed this jersey for me right after the National Anthem, minutes before the game had started. Nobody would've guessed that was going to be Joe's last season as the Rays manager. He went on to sign with the Chicago Cubs and brought a World Series Championship to them in 2016. Probably a safe bet, Joe will one day be enshrined in the halls of Cooperstown.
