My son and I met Mallex Smith at the University of Tampa on January 17, 2019. Mallex was attending a baseball clinic and was kind enough to sign a card for my son and I as well as pose for a picture with my son. I wasn't expecting him to be at this event. Mallex had recently been traded to the Seattle Mariners, and was not listed as one of the professional coaches for this event. Luckily, I was prepared!
